NEWS & NOTES
- New Courses - Our school will offer 25 different AP courses during the 2024-2025 academic year. Newer courses include AP Pre-Calculus, AP African American Studies, and AP Art History. If you are interested in these, or any other courses, please speak with your school counselor.
- Dual Enrollment - This program, also known as "College and Career Promise," allows students to take college classes while still in high school. Students can enter as early as the fall of their 11th grade year and as late as the summer after their senior year. Tuition is free. For more information see the Dual Enrollment website for Durham Tech.
- Credit by Demonstrated Mastery - CDM is a two-phase process by which students can earn credit for a course by demonstrating a deep understanding and mastery of application of the content standards prior to taking the class. Students who successfully complete CDM will receive a pass/fail grade and course credit. For additional information, click HERE.
- Social and Emotional Support - It is important that our students balance rigor with rest and potential with pause. Additional resources will be shared by your teachers in the fall and uploaded to this website throughout the summer. From an academic perspective, please take time to review the links under the "Resources and Support" tab at the top of the website.
